week 9

What I did I do today/this week?                                              This week I added games, picture and widgets. The things I uploaded were good and I have now put a few on the website.                                                                            

What areas did I find difficult?                                                  Well it was the same as last week it’s hard to do anything because the internet is so slow but I’m not complaining.                                                            

What did I learn?                                                                             This week I learnt how to upload pictures, games and widgets and I also learnt how to edit my page a bit more.                                                                                                                                                                                                              

What do I need to know?                                                                     I need to know how to add background music to my webpage but I don’t know if it’s possible.                                                                                                                                   

Where am I going to find the information?                              Well I do some research on the music and I will also look again on my website.      

week 8

What I did I do today/this week?                                                     This week I worked on my I.T website it is called Gleeson Games I also uploaded some videos onto the website. I have two videos on my website now.                                          

What areas did I find difficult?                                                       Well the only thing I found difficult was adding things to the website because the internet was so slow so therefore it was hard to add anything.                                          

What did I learn?                                                                                 I did learn how to add videos and things like that to a website.                                                                                                                                                                

What do I need to know?                                                                                     I really just need to explore the website and get more information that way.                                                                          

Where am I going to find the information?                                    Well I just need to explore the site to find out more information.

What I did I do today/this week?                                                                 I looked for sound effects on the internet and I also finished my script on a radio station. I am also finishing my podcast it is about a plane crashing at Adelaide airport.

What areas did I find difficult? Well just looking for all the sound effects was a little bit hard because I hade to download everyone of them.

What did I learn?

I learnt where to find sound effects on the internet and other places like audacity. I also found out how to import sound clips from audacity.

What do I need to know? I really don’t need to know anything more on audacity because I have learnt all about it.

Where am I going to find the information? I will find all of the information that I need to know on the computer ok.

week 4

What I did I do today/this week?                                                I finished my script a plane crash and I also learnt a bit more on audacity.

What areas did I find difficult?                                                It was just making up a story about a plane crash and we had to finish a draft so making up the story was a little bit hard.

What did I learn?                                                                       I learnt how to set out a radio or TV scripts. I also learnt a lot more sounds to work with.

What do I need to know?                                                                                          I need to finish my good copy of my radio script and I need to finish the sound copy. 

Where am I going to find the information?                          Next lesson I will finish the script and start my sound blog.

What I did I do today/this week?                                           This week I started my radio script it is about a plane that crashes at Adelaide airport. I also read the example script and got a good idea on how to set the script out. 

                       

What areas did I find difficult?                                             Well thinking of a story that will include all the criteria’s needed was difficult.  

                                                    

What did I learn?                                                                         I learnt how to set out a radio script and what is involved in it.

What do I need to know?                                                                                            I need to know a lot more on radio scripts and other sorts of scripts.                                             

Where am I going to find the information?  

I will have another look at the example script and also finish my copy of the script.

What I did I do today/this week?                                                                  I created a podcast with sound effects and my voice; it was a phone ringing and then the answering machine playing. It was great to create a podcast with my voice in it.

What areas did I find difficult?                                                                      I found learning all the effects hard to do because I couldn’t find them but it was my first time using it.

What did I learn?                                                                                                                   I learnt how to create a podcast and add my voice to it and where everything is on Audacity.                                                                        

What do I need to know?                                                                                                                I need to know a lot more about Audacity and all of its features.           

Where am I going to find the information?                                                  Well over time using Audacity will become a lot easier to use and to create podcast.

What I did I do today/this week?                                          This week I started my social networking project I am enjoying working on it. It is to do with sharing information and pictures.What areas did I find difficult?                                                                                  On this assignment I have not really found anything difficult. It was hard getting screen shots of MSN and other social networking programs.What did I learn?                                                                       I learn a lot more on type’s social networks and why people use them. I also learnt more on creating power points.

What do I need to know?                                                            

 I need to learn more on power point and social networking.Where am I going to find the information?                             I am going to find this information on social networking sites. I will learn more on power point by trial and error.

Blogging Assignment week 9

What I did I do today/this week?                                                                         This week I edited several pages on wikis we also did good and bad examples of known wiki websites. We are also starting a social networking assignment and that looks interesting.What areas did I find difficult?                                      At first creating a wiki was slightly difficult but once I started doing more of them it became a lot more easier. Showing good and bad examples became hard because their aren’t many popular wiki websites with mistakes.What did I learn?                                                        This week I learn a lot more on creating wikis, how to use a wiki and privacy and security issues with wikis. What do I need to know?                                                I need to know more about social networking but mostly more about blogs. I also need to know more about wikis. Where am I going to find the information?                      I will try to learn more about these things on www.wordpress.com this is a website on blogging and creating blogs.

What did I do this week?                                      This week I edited more pages on creating a wiki. We also learnt more on publishing blogs on sites such as gleeason9itc.pbwiki.com and http://wikipedia.org.                                                                              What areas did I find difficult?                                       The areas that I found difficult were trying to edit pages.What did I learn?                                                                I learnt how to edit pages on the Internet also more on publishing blogs.

What do I need to know?                                                  

I need to know more on blogs and making wiki’s.

Where am I going to find the information?

Hopefully I will learn more and more as the term goes on.

What I did I do today/this week? This week I had to do a small assignment it involved analyse a website. First I had to find a blogging website. Then I looked at a range of things like the relevance of the website, the accuracy of the information, the author and the purpose of the website.What areas did I find difficult? The one thing I found difficult was finding a good blogging website because nearly all good blogging websites are blocked or crap.What did I learn? I learnt about some good and bad blogging websites on the Internet last week. I also learnt how to analyse a website and tell if it is good or bad.What do I need to know?
